By Britney Kennedy | OnPoint Nutrition

Smoothies are a great way to get your kids to drink a cool drink packed with so many nutrients! They can be enjoyed for breakfast or even as a snack, especially on a hot summer day. Smoothies are completely customizable, ensuring your picky eaters get exactly what they want. Your children will love selecting their own smoothie recipe and learn the importance of healthy eating all in one!

The best smoothie contains 4 out of the 5 major food groups; fruit and vegetables for fiber, dairy and protein foods for protein and calcium, and fats for satiety.  We hope you enjoy these refreshing alternatives to your normal breakfast or snack!
