Runner Spotlight: Hailey Schultz, Parrish, FL

Two year old Hailey Schultz is a true heart warrior, having undergone multiple surgeries before she was even born, open heart surgery at 9 months old, and surviving a stroke at 10 months old that impacted the entire left side of her body. Hailey continues her recovery with her biggest cheerleader by her side – her older brother Logan!

Logan is a former premature infant whose twin brother suffered from the same anomalies as Hailey and unfortunately lost his battle at just three young days of life. Logan and Hailey share an unbreakable bond that is fueled by their angel brother, Landon.

Teaching healthy habits at a young age is important to Hailey’s parents. As athletes themselves, they love that Healthy Kids helps build discipline, strength, and an excitement to compete at such a young age! Their mom shares, “It was great to see her participate and compete with children her age. We loved seeing the support and comradery from the community!”

Way to go Hailey! We are so proud of you and glad to be a part of your #GetUpAndGo journey!
